Other items on the gramme were: Scene from The Heart of Midlothian"' (Sir Walter &cott); "Jeanie Deans and the Laird d Dnmbiedykes"; scene irom "Oliver Twist" '(Chrrles Dickens), Mr Bumble and Mrs Corney before Marriage —Mr and Mrs Bumble after Marriage. A new programme will he presented to-night, when Mr Norlands will give his final reciti.l. Such items as '•-Admirals A.U" (New bolt), "The Bells' (PooV'TlieLonlcey'' (Chesterton), "The Barren" (Poe) and "Forty Singing Seamen (Noyes) are always worth hearing, and when rendered by such a master artist- as Mr NowlancU one can -bo sure of heaving them performed to perfection". The "Trial. Scene" .from '•"l'be Merchant of Venice'-' trill bo the principal item, all' tiro ■ various characters, the Duke,. Antonio. Tiassanio, Gratir.no. Sillerio. Shylock.
