CONCERT AT LINWOOD.
A most enjoyable' and 6uccesef ul concert was held in St. George's Presbyterian Church Hall on Wednesday. In spite of the rough weather the hall was filled. A very excellent jjrogramme was listened to with much appreciation by all present. instrumental items were given by Bennett's Orchestra and Mr Mall, elocutionary items by Miss Ritchie and Miss Edwards, vocal °o'os by Miss N. Lc-wc, Miss Ewart, Mr Warfian Mr J. Bitchards and' Mr Gallop, and duets by Mr 3. Ritchards and Miss Kwart, and Mr and Mrs Gallop Mr Ritchards was very interesting arid mysterious, in.<a. series of conjuring acts and sleight of hand. Occasion was taken by the minister of the parish, the Rev. John V. Jacobson, to thank all who had helped, and the Young Women s Bible Class, who made and sold sweets.
