Lew Cody, as the, .tempting villain, portrays his role exceptionally well; '.Others'in the cast arc Pierre Gendrcri, Mary Carr, and Millard Louis. Ley/' Cody, as Lnmont, is 'up .to his ears in'debt, and falling.in with Marie Wilton, played' by' Paulina Frederick, «"> ' 'extremely wealthy woman,\he pets into her good graces, and she, a selfish '. creation of- modern times, falls in love with him to such an extent that he becomes her.-finan-cial confidant.
