RENEWAL AFTER NIGHT'S DEBATE. O*T CABLE—MISS ASSOCIATION—COETBIGET.) (SEVTSB'S TELEOBAK9.) (Received June 10th, 9.20 p.m.) LONDON, June 10. After the rejection of a series of Liberal ajbd Labour amendments in the course of an all-night debate, following on time-worn fiscal controversial lines, the House of Commons adopted the McKenna duties by 186 votes to 67. [The McKenna duties on cinematograph films, clocks and watches, motorcars and motor-cycles, and musical instruments were imposed in 1915, when Mr McKenna was Chancellor of the Exchequer, and were renewed from year to year until 1924, when the Labour Party was in office. Mr Snowdon's Budget repealed the duties and a motion by Mr Bnldwin declaring this inexpedient was defeated by 317 votes to 252.]
