SPREYDON BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting' of the Spreydon Burgesses' Association was held last Monday. Present—Messrs 0. Wear (chairman), A. Smith, AV. Winsor, J. Ealtham, W. Dixey, C. Bigwbod, T. Greig, "W. Earnahaw, J. Thompson. W. Campbell. F. Schwartz, and J. demons (secretary). The Town' Clerk wrote, that instructions had been given 'to lay a *pipo diagonally across the corner of Howard and Barrington streets to improve the drainage. The secretary was instructed to write to the Town Clerk in referenco to the wire fences surrounding the Spreydon Park,: also in reference to the rounding off fhe,corner of Jerroid street and L.ncoln road;, on the 'Spreydor. side. Tho secretary's action in writing "to the' City Council ih referenco- to the carting of'■ shiriglo .from the pit at- liytteltoh -street-was approved. It was agreed'to invite a representative' or representatives of the Tramway/Board ~to address the members on tramway ma'tters. Messrs Skeltoh and 'Natty; were- elected members of the Association. ' ' .'
