J. C. NEWLANDS'S RECITALS.
"Mr Newlands, this year has won. a host of new admirers while retaining his sure hold on his former friends.'by his splendid Shakespearean and Dickensian recital last night," sayß Mr J. A. MacGlashen in tho "Morning Chronicle," Halifax. For his first entertainment to-morrow at the Choral Hall, Mr Newlands has chosen a. miscellaneous evening, including "The Bells" by Edgar Allan Poe, and works by Kipling, Barrie, Maseßeld and other well-known authors. His second recital will be devoted to Shakespeare, Scott and Dickens. The box plan is at The Bristol.
