The military band of the Boyal Marines, who were to have played at Oswestry Flower Show in August, 1914, but were reealle*! by the outbreak of war, gave two concerts in the town recently. Lieutenant Charles Hoby, the said they were all sorry- for *tho cause which, prevented the "band coming, in 1914. He was glad, after this long period, to make the 'acquaintance of the polite town of Oswestrv. He added that the audience would see the Eoyal Marines for the last time in their red coats. They were going ; iJrto blue within a week.
