The "University of Pennsylvania is spending £200,000 on the erection of a r new college football stadium, which, when completed, will be the largest and beat equipped. in the world. At the ihief matches played by the college last year the whole accommodation was taken on each occasion, and the spectators numbered 54,000. It has been decided, therefore, to provide a seating capacity of 106,000 for the new ground, and the work is proceeding. American colleges evidently have the handling of a deal more money than similar institutions in any other part of .tiie' world."
