Tho steady rain yesterday delayed work on the waterfront' after 9 a.m. The departure of ,incst of the vessels was postponed until to-day. Tho Kamo is to complete loading to-day foi- Napier and Gisborne. • Tho Gale is to sail this afternoon taking cargo for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The-Cygnet is to be dispatched to-night for Kaikoura, Motueka; and Nelson. The Holmdalo is expected this morning from Timaru to load' for- Wellington and Wanganui. The Storm is duo to-day from Timaru to load'for Wollington and Wanganui. The Wingatui, due to-day from Timarfc, will load for Auckland. She sails' -via Weir lington. It is hoped to dispatch the Kauri for Auckland direct tc-morrow. ■ The Union Co.'s Waihemo arrived yesterday morning from Napier to discharge.cargo from San Francisco. She will also discharge at Dunedin and New Plymouth. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion, eteamer Waiwcra arrived at Auckland on Sunday from Antwerp. She has cargo for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth. ! The auxiliary schooner Zita arrived last evening after a protracted -voyage from Jlokau, whence she brings a lull load of timber. , On completion of discharge she will load f:r Waitara. The Coolaha is expected to complete discharge of her oargo of Newcastle coal today, and. sails for Hokianga, where she will load timber for Australia. The P.ort Victor is expected to-morrow from Bluff to continue Homeward loading. Tho Mannganui sailed from Sydney at 3 p.m. on Friday with passengers and cargo lor Wellington, where .she is due this morning. She will leave again on the leturn trip on Friday next. The Coricthio sails from Wellington at daybreak on Thursday, for Southampton and London, via Panama. Cable advice states that the Shaw-Savill liner Waimana sailed frcm London on Friday with cargo for. Auckland, Napier, Dunecin, and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on July 12th . .'The Bluff Harbour Board has notified the, Marine Department of the existence of a sunken rock 895 feet from No. 1 Red Beacon," and 790 feet from No. 3 Red Beacon. -It is situated 70 feet southward of the main channel leading beacons, and has 21 feet of water over it at m.1.w.6. The Federal- S.N. Company are in receipt of a wireless mtesage from the steamer Ruapehu, en route from Liverpool, 6tating that ehe should arrive at Auckland next Thursday. She is due at Wellington a. week later. The Pakeha left Opua on Saturday morning for fading at Hick's Bay, Tokomaru Bay, Wanganui, Timaru, and Wellington. She leaves Wellington on June 25th for Lyttelton to complete, and 'sails from here on June' 27th for London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe.

The Danish steamer Sierra Morena, which is bringing cargo from Texas ports to New Zealand and Australia, sailed from New Orleans on MAy 10th, from Sanine on May 17th, and finally left 'Colon on May 20th. The vessel, which is under charter to Andrew Weir and Company, is duo at Auckland about the middle of this month.
