KING'S BIRTHDAY.

Th« Governor-General has received the following reply to the message which he sent oi» the King's birthday for submission to his Majesty :—"His Majesty the King commands me to ask yon to express to the Government and people of New Zealand his warm appreciation of the message from them on the occasion of his birthday."—(Signed) Secretary of State for the Colonies.
