A satisfactory credit balance was reported in connexion with the autumn meeting. It was resolved to write to the tbuntry racing clubs asking for their c<s-operation in securing a reduction in taxation. An application was received from the West Coast Rugby League for the use 'of the racecourse on April ] oth. The request was referred to the executive to arrange a conference witli the Indngahua Sub-union. A donation o£ £5 5s was voted to Mr B. Hatch in appreciation of his excellent starting at the recent meeting. Monthly Statistics. During April the rainfall at Greymoutli was "i.2S inches, making the total for the-first four months of.the year 23.61 inches, as against 33.62 "inches last year. Bain fell on 13 days, the niaxiinum being .98 on the 2uth.
