There was a record number .of •entries, which were all manoeuvred without a bitch, thank 3 to the capable secretary, Mr D. G. Croft, and hi* committee. A good lunch was provided by Die local ladies, the proceeds for which are to bo devoted to t]j« Jini-ii'xlif.t Church. Tho decisions of the ju.iu-e, Mr,G. L. Rutherford, gave general satisfaction, and he was eulogised lor h!i services i>y .ice president, Mr A. Cameron, who also thanked Mr and Mrs G. B.
