RECHABITES.
There was a largn attendance of members at a meeting of the- St. Albans Eechabite Tent. Three membera were awarded sick pay. Two clearances were accepted, and three new members added to the roll; The .secretary presented a comprehensive report of the business transacted at the recent sessions of tho District Council. Amongst the visitors who were welcomed were Bro. A. Wilson; of the Auckland District, BrD., A. Martin, District Deputy Chief Buler, and Past Chief Ruler, Bro. BayLise, of tho Philipson Tent. The Chief Buler, Bro. J. "W. Willis, who was recently married, was presented by Bro. Martin with some cutlery ins an evidence of goodwill and appreciation of his service in the interests of the Tent. Bro. A. D. Hassall ' announced that the members had decided to recognise' the lengthy and consistent support of the Tent by-Past Chief' Ruler Bro. C.'N. Watson* and Past Chief Ruler Bro'.. Martin. He; presented the former with a fruit bowl, and; tho latter; with eomo crockery as a token o{ tho esteem in which they were held.! Musical honours, accompanied the gifts, the recipients suitably responding. Advantage was taken of the presence of Bro. T., G.. Martin to tender him hearty congratulations ; on Mb recent marriage. Subsequently those ; present participated in .various amusements, ; followed .by refreshments.
