HIGHER PAY WANTED. (BT (ATISTBAIJAN AND K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received April 30th, 7.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 30. In view ftf the forthcoming shearing season, the Australian Workers' Union has filed an application in the Arbitra* tion Court for a variation of the pastoral award in the direction of an increaso in shearing rates and concessions in other directions. When the present award was made, the Court promised a variation if tho cost oE living increased. Graziers claim that there has been no suoh increase.
