"CHEERIO."

COLLEGE REVUE. When students oast aside their books they are a gay crowd, and their gaiety is infections. They are seen at their best in the College Revue. This year the revue under the title o£ "Cheerio" will open a three nights' season at the Theatre Boyal on Monday next. For years past the College Revue has been a production to be looked forward to with great pleasure, the topical hits and high quality of the acting and dancing appealing to everybody. This year's production is confidently expected to surpass all previous efforts, containing two acts of delightful humour, and one of a more ambitious audi artistic nature, in which dancing of a high order is provided. The first act, called "Supposing," contains the diverting history of a quack professor named Jones, who is mistaken for a really learned gentleman, Professor Johns. Professor Jones, with considerable aplomb and an appealing readiness of wit, makes a laudable attempt to> carry off the deception. The dialogue is sparkling and the situations highly dramatic. The second act is carried through by the girl students. Miss Gwynedd Barnsdale, from Wellington, and Miss-Ives, who was such a success in hist year's revue, are first-class dancers._ -Hie ballets have bSen arranged by Miss Marjone Myers. Bright songs, with rattling choruses, make the whole entertainment go witn 4 may be obtained at The Bristol from to-morrow on.
