At the meeting of the >orth Beach householders on Monday, Dr. Mclntyie of the Coronation Hospital, gave a eiort lecture on the subject of open-air schools A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the speaker. Later on in the evening a unammous vote v,as leceived in favour of the additions about to bo made to the school beuig made orT the open-air princp e. After the public meeting the newly-elected School ComnStteTmet, and Mr E AM. Leaver was appointed chairman, and Mr Bi»h secretary It »-»s decided to affiliate with the School Committees' Association and_ to obtain quotations for the asphalting 01 paths, etc., round the school.
