The Blyth Town Council has refused to iicepse a 70-« eater motor-bus. AppJir cation was made by a bus company which runs a service in the district but the Council considered that a vehicle of such size oh the roads would be likely to cause accidents. "An engine of destruction," was the term need by one Councillor. The largest bus owned by the London General Omnibus Comjjany has accommodation for 54 passengers.
