METHVEN CLUB. A team from the Methven Golf Club vfsited Lake Coleridge during the week-end, and played a match on the latter club'a finks. The contest resulted in a win for .the home team by one game. The scores are as follows, Lake Coleridga players beiug mentioned first: ' DOUBLES. Elliott and Callaway 0, Hency and Lloyd 1. ■ Hart and Worsdale 1, Waddington and Thomas 0. Cooper and Kussell 1, Harris and Campbell 0. SINGLES. Elliott 1, Heney 0. Callaway 1, Lloyd 0. Hart 1, Waddington 0. Preston 0, Thomas 1. Tenntnt 0, Harris 1.. Worsdale 1, Campbell 0. LADIES' . SLNULES. - Mre Preston 0, Mrs Lloyd 1. Mrs Harding 0, Mrs Holraos 1. At the conclusion of the matches the visitors were entertained by tho local team and cheers were given and reciprocated. a friendly triangular match was played by Messrs Haden and, Baxter, of the Methven Club, and Mr' Bolton, of Lake Coleridge, and honours were evenly divided.
