The Cunard liner Saxonia, pf 34,107 tons, has been sold to a foreign buyer to bo broken up. This is the largest liner ever sold for this purpose. She is a sister ship to the Ivernia, which was torpedoed and sunk on January Ist, 1017. Before the. war she ran on the United Kingdom-St. Lawrence route. Sho was requisitioned at the outbreak of war as a troopship, and nr. Sfipteniber 28th, 1914, sailed from Gaspe Bay with the first contingent of Canadian infantry.
