Anzac Say Parade. To-morrow the Lyttelton detachment of Territorials will parade under Lieut. L. Toomey at 9.30 a.m. at the Drill Hall, and will aitcnd a memorial service to be conducted at (lie (Jenotaph uuricr the Kcv. A. J. Pctrie. Veterans, returned soldiers, and other troops and local bodies will also take part and the parade will he under Lieut. J. W. Crampton, headed by the Lyttelton Marine Baud. . Anzac Day Service, The combined Anzue memorial service will bo held • at the C'cntotapli to-morrow, at 10.30 a.m. Golf. The Lyttelton Ladies'-Golf Club will hold its monthly medal match at Chartcris Bay during the week-end. A team from the'Avondalc Golf Club will visit Cliartevis Bay on Sunday and play a. malch with a Lyttelton team. To-morrow's Train Service! A partial" Sunday time-tablo will bo observed on tho Christchurch-Lyttelton. line tomorrow (Anzac - Bay). Trains will leave Lyttelton for Christchurch nt 10.5 a.m. and 1.50, 3.5, 5.35, 8.32 and 9.30 p-.m. In addition, 'the ferry train, stopping at all stations, will leave Lyttclton on the arrival of the ferry. steamer, about 7 a.m. Trains leave Christchurch lor Lyttelton at 9.30 a.m. and l.a», 2.30, 5.0, 7.40 and 9.0 p.m. The 7.40 p.m. is the ferry train, and will not stop between Christchurch and the Ferry Wharf.
The Pictures. "The Gaiety Girl," a Universal-Jewel production Marring Mary Philbin, will be repeated at the Harbour Light Theatre tonight, together with Century comedy, gazette and the tenth episode of "The Purple Biders." There will be no pictures to-morrow (Anzac Day). On Monday "Sandra," a particularly good First National drama, featuring Barbara La 4PH. bo screened. The supporting programme includes a comedy, scenic and gazette. Summary Measures. During the present enforced school holidays the small hoi's of the town, no doubt hard put to keep themselves amused, have developed the trolley craze, and nearly every other youngster now possesses one of "Airse vehicles. Tho sport of trolleying down tho steep streets of the town at breakneck speed -would have been harmless enough if the boys bad been content to. remain on the outskirts, but some of them persisted in frequenting the main streets. Repeated warnings having proved ineffective the police adopted a novel and summary course. Several of the trolleys were impounded at the police station, where their owners were compelled to drag them and leave them in the care of the law for terms varying up to a, week. *
