NEW YORK, April 22.
An address by President Coolidge in which he sounded a message of peace and prosperity was broadcast from a specially-prepared pkonofUm made a week ago at Washington, marking what is said to be the first attempt ever made to broadcast the voice from the picture screen. The film, which recorded both the and the movements of the President, was shown before a gathering of editors and publishers. It is described as a notable scientific achievement.
