Tansiey) *m& that the value of the gift to Meaat Roskill residents and Auckland_JPMpto generally could not bo orer«au««M«. The mountain was one of the few -ve*. canio cones of scoria, which had «*>jpg* the despoiler, and except for • afijM scar on one side, it was in a state w j Nature. ! The scoria alone, he said, was of an | estimated value of £BO,OOO.
