A PARENT'S PROTEST. (PBE33 ASSOCIATION TELtOBAX.) OAMARU, April 20. Dr. • Pickerill, of Duncdtn, who brought one of Mb sons to tho Waitaki Boys' High School to-day, was surprised to find on arrival that the Health Department had made no provision for students presenting medical certificates before being admitted to the school. Dr. Pickerill felt so strongly upon tho subject, that he sent a telegram to the Director-General of Health, protesting against students being permitted to enter secondary schools without such certificates.
