BRIDGE NOT WANTED.
BOAT CLUB'S RESOLUTION, At a meeting of the Brighton. Power Boat Club it was resolved to protest against any bridge or obstruction being placed across the estuary at South Brighton, as tho regulations stale that boats plying for hire must carry masts. It was also stated that the ocean powerboat race should bo held on the King's Birthday, at 11 o'clock, from tho Sumner to tho New Brighton pier, weather and other circumstances permitting. » As more water vide coming down the Avon it was decided to put in stakes to strengthen the jetty mooring at the Brighton bridge.
