METHVEN GUN CLUB.
OPENING OF SEASON. The Methvcn Gun Club opened its season on Saturday afternoon on 'the racecourse, when a good crowd of members and -visitors attended. The first of the series of matches for the President's 009 wm competed for, the conditions being' 14 birds. The winner was T. S. Harrison, S. Anderson second and A. Orchard third.
