According to a number of leading Paris hairdressers, the .reign of shingled hair is nearing its end. It will be replaced shortly by hair' neither too short nor too long—just "short"—with a small chignon. " M. Pierre Rolland, president;'of the Academy of French Hair-dressers,-says that many of. his fash: ionable women clients are beginning to wear for the evening thin wigs of coloured . hair, with a small chignon to match-the colour of the' dress.
