NEW ADVICE REGARDING TOUR. (special to "the rxssa.") WELLINGTON, November 24. Tho Hon. B. D. Meagher, ex-Lord Mayor of Sydney, who ia a passenger by the Tahiti from America, obtained sonic information from Admiral Kobertson, at Honolulu, regarding tiae visit of the Americun Fleet, whieh docs not agree entirely with that published in the later eablo from Washington this morning. Mr Meagher was given to understand that the number of men would be about 18,400, of whom 15,600 would visit Auckland and Sydney, and about 2500 Wellington and Melbourne. A hospital ship and oil-tankers *ill accompany the Fleet. - Mr Meagher mentioned that Amerie* was spending betweon fifty and sixty million dollars on her naval base at San Diego. In addition, the American Naval Department was vastly improving the harbour of San Pedro, ths Navy's oiling base, and the harbour for Los Angeles. "As an Australian," he added, "I feel that every dollar the United States Government is spending there is something by way of insurance for Australia and New Zeaalnd, as well as for tho people of the United States." .
