SHIPPING NOTES. The Wanalca left for Bluff shortly after midday yesterday. She is due back about Tuesday of next week via. Dunedin and Timaru, to load for Auckland," via Wellington. Tho Flora is expected at Lyttelton tomorrow from Timaru to load for Napier and Giscorne. Captain G. Ruxton is now in command of the Union Company's new steainer Kairanga vice Captain "\V. D. Cameron, who has come ashore for instructions. The Gale left yesterday for Southern porta. Sho is due back on Thursday. The Kennedy got away last night for Foxton^ A rearrangement is to be of Jles Q r3 Riohardson and Co.'s East Coast fleet on the arrival at Napier of their new steamers Glensida and Sunnyhill from Home. Tho Glenside is to enter the "vYellington-Napier-Gisborne service until tho arrival of the Sunnyhill. The latter vessel will ultimately enter the Wellington-Napier-Gisborne eer-
vice, and the Glenside will be transferred to another run. The Awahou, at present on the so-uthern run, will re-enter the Auck-land-Ccast-Gisborne service, thereby enabling the charter of the Aupouri to lie terminated, and the vessel handed back to the owners, the Northern Steamship Co. Both vessels are to be renamed, the Gler.side's name being changed to Parera and the ,'fa.nnyhill's to Pakura.. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Zealandic is due at New Plymouth about December 20tli from Australia, to take in Homeward cargo. Tho vcs3el will complete loading at Auckland, from which port she is scheduled to sail about January 21st for London, via. Monte Video and Teneriffe. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Hertford, now loading Homeward cargo at Auckland, is to leave there on Saturday next for Tokomaru Bay, Napier, Wellington, Wanganui, and Lyttelton. The '■easel in due at Wellington on December Bth, and is to sail finally from Lyttelton on December 18th for London, via Panama and Curacao. The oil tanker Shreveport was due at Wellington yesterday, from San Luis Obispo with a full cargo of fuel oil. The vessel will discharge her cargo at Miramar, under the autpices of Messrs A. S. Paterson and Co. The Tahiti arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Sa/n Francisco, via usual ports. She is to sail to-morrow for Sydney. The New Zealand Shipping Company has beon advised by cable that the Ruahine arrived at Curacao on November 19th .from London and Southampton, and sailed again the Bame day ior Panama, Wellington, and Lyttelton. She is due at this port about December 18th. The Wingatui was despatched last night for Auckland direct. The Makura was due at Auckland yesterdfrom Sydney. She ig to sail to-day for Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu. The Whangape is due ai Lyttelton on Thursday from .Sydney direct. She is to sail the next day for Dunedin. It is advised that the Waitemata ia due at Lyttelton at the end of the month with coal from Newcastle. Due from southern ports on Thursday, the Navua is to load for Auckland, proceeding via Wellington. The Moeraki is due from Melbourne, via' Wellington, on December 9th. She continues her journey south the same day. Tho John is due from Timaru to-morrow. She sails later for Wellington,Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Tho Holmdale is due on Saturday from Timaru to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Oropuki ,is due from Taxakohe on Saturday. The Progress ifl due on December 4th frcm tho nortlf to load for Wellington and Wanganui. She might also call at Waikato.
Captain F. Dewhurst has taken command of the Progress in place of Captain Hay, who is on holiday leave. After putting' out about 1650 tons of bitumen etc., the Knockfierna is expected to sail on Thursday for Hobart. The Tees, which is expected at Lyttelton from Greymouth and Wellington about December 11th, is to load for the Chatham Islands. The Wairau is expected from Blenheim, on Monday. She will lo*d and return. It is advised. that the City of Edinburgh left New York on November loth for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on December 22nd. The Paripari got away from New York on November 2nd,'and is due - at Auckland on December 7th. Subsequently ehe unloads at Wellington, Lyttelton, snd Dunedin. The Calm is due to-day from Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru to load for Wellington and other ports. The Ripple is due on Wednesday from Wellington to load for southern ports. The Kentucky, with cargo from New York, ia ■expected at Lyttelton from. Wellington on Friday. . The liner Cumberland is due at Lyttelton on Sunday from Wellington with West of England cirgo. She goes next to Dunedin. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Athenio is expected at Lyttelt*! from Auckland during the week with cargo from London. The Woottoa is to sail to-day for Wellington.

FLORA REFLOATED. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAU.) DU,NEDIN, November 24. Tho steamer Flora, after being fast on a mud bank in the Upper Harbour for 62 hours was successfully refloated at 1.15 p.m. to-day after a quantity of cargo had been discharged into lighters.
