Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winde, backing to northerlies northward of New Plymouth and Napier; northerlies prevailing and freshening shortly elsewhere; weather warm and humid, with cloudiness increasing for a change to follow generally. Rain is probable soon in the northernmost and West Coast districts. The barometer is falling.
