TECHNICAL COLLEGE FAIR.
■ « In aid of the Technical College Old Boys' Memorial Hall, a successful garden fair was held on Saturday afternoon in the beautiful frounds of the hostel. The fair deflared open by the Mayor (Mr J. A Flesher), and Mr McGregor B. Wright also spoke A brisk business was oone at the vaj-ious *»nlis and side-shows, as a result of which the memorial funds ahould bo considerably were: Produce, Misses ]l : <*"ins and liaddrell: flowers, Misses Clark, i ; ;, 7,7; won and Mr >~ieo)>; miscellaneous, Ui „ Haves and Mr Tliomason; brail tub, Mr Money; cake and sweets. Misses Beck " ~i (; T .,h;im; woodwork, Mess".Partner and B-nnv; fea rooms. Misses Wilkie. Turner, \> {o bertson. Partridge. Hawkins and Kemptliorne; needlework, Misses McXie, Gunn, McDonald and Cramond; side-shows, Art Students: chamber of horrors, Messrs McBride and Garnett and senior students. The memorial funds now amount to about £7OOO.
