Archbishop O'Donnell, who was appointed Aichbishop-a.uxiU'U'y to tho late Cardinal Loguo in 1922, automatically sucoeeils to the Archbishopric of Armagh, and it is expected that ho will be elected a Cardinal. (Cardinal Loguo had been Primate of All Ireland since 18S7, and Archbishop or Armagh since 18s8, Ho was born in 1840, was consecrated BUuop of llaphoe in 1871), and created a Cardinal in 18US.]
