The National Assembly of Panama has-been asked by President Chiari to amend! the Constitution so as to forbid the .rerelection of Presidents and to bar from., the Presidency kinsmen of an outgoing Chief Executive'to the'fourth degree of consanguinity, or the second degree of affinity. The measure would also bar-Vice-Presidents exercising tKe Presidency from succeeding themselves.
