CASUALTIES.
INJURIES PROVE FATAL. Alexander Johnstone, a married man, aged 69 years,; who was crushed by the lift ■ at . Hereford Court on Monday, died in the Christchurch Hospital early yesterday morning. The deceased, who . resided at 372 Worcester street, was crushed when the lift moved unexpectedly, suffering a broken leg and severe internal injuries.
The inquest was held at the Hospital before the District Coroner, Mr Wyvera "Wilson, for the purposes of identification only.
