During the hearing of divorce proceedings in Edinburgh, in which Lady Ross is charging Sir Charles Ross, Bart., inventor of the Canadian service rifle, with misconduct, it was announced that Sir Charles was leaving his Scottish estates of 350,000 acres to the Ross clan, as he intends to live in Now York working upon munitions for the American Government. [Sir Charles Rqss's holdings are in Ross-shire (where his seat is at Balnagowan Castle) and Lanarkshire. The heir to the baronetcy is Mr A. H. Farquharson,. a cousin. Petitioner in tho present case is his second wife; his first marriage was dissolved after four years in 1897.]
