BEACHED PENDING REPAIRS. [By Radio.] (PROM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.) CHATHAM ISLANDS, Nov. 19 (4 p.m.) The Rama when she Btrtick a submerged rock at Kaingaroa on Monday evening, tore a hole six feet long in the bottom. She was successfully beached at Okawa, pending repairs.

Captain Cartner, of the ill-fated Rama, has sent the following wireless message:— Water steadily gained after midnight Tuesday. Beached vessel 4 a.m. Wednesday. Stokehold and engineroom both full of water, also both holds. Lauded crew. Northerly gale blowing.
