WAHINE TO RESUME. The Wahine, which is completing overhaul and conversion to oil-burning at Port Chalmers, will rc-atiter the Welllngton-Lyttelton semco by sailing from Wellington on December 15th. During <the year ended June 30th last, 8518 vessels, of a gross tonnage of 15,435,63-2 entered Sydney Harbour, ad merease of 141 vessels compared with the previous year, and only 4.4 per cent, below the year ended Juno 30th, 1914, which was the port's record year. The net revenue collected last year was £897,336, and working expenditure £247,006. STRANDING OF THE OPUA. NO DAMAGE, (SrSCIAX, TO "Vf* MtMB.") GREYMOUTH, November 19. The steamer Opua- arrived in port to-day shortly after 2 p.m. An examination of tho vessel wais conducted by the octing-Collector of Customs, but it was ascertained that she had suffered no damage through grounding on Farewell Spit. Captain MoKenrio stated to "The Press" representative that tho Opus, grounded on the end of the sandy spit at 3.45 p.m. on Monday, when the weather was hazy, with frequont showers. She floated off without damage on the rising lido at 9.30 p.m. It is believed that ithe Spit has extended considerably sine© the last survey. ISLAND STEAMER OVERDUE.
