COMING PRODUCTIONS. (»T CABLS—ERESS ASSOCIATION— COPTKIOET) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z.' CABLE ASSOCIATIOK.) LONDON, November 14. Sir George Tallis has acquired for Australian production the American musical comedy, "Rcsemarie," and an extravaganza, "Stepping Stones." Sir George has engaged Guy Bates Post to return for a year's season to produce "The Green Goddess," "The Bad Man," "The Maaquerader," and other plays. The English engagements include tho Maurice Moscovitch English Company, to open at Christmas in "Merchant of Venice," and afterwards "The Outsider," and "The Great Lover." Ho has also purchased the Thurston Hall play, "So This Is London," and "The Broken "Wing." Maud Fane is re-engaged for a leading 1 part in "The Primrose," which the firm is to produce at Easter; also "Madame Pompadour," "The Street Singer," and later, "The Pelican." The two Lonsdales have been engaged to play in the farce "Spring Cleaning." Sir George Tal!is bought the whole of the scenery and wardrobe of the Oriental play "Hassan." His chief achievement was an arrangement with Dion Boucicault to produce in 1925 a cycle "of Barrie plays.
Tho firm has decided to produce in London in January "Lightnin'," and other WinchellSmith plays, and also has acquired part rights in Lehar's opera, "Frasquita," in which Joso Collins opens in Edinburgh. It hopes to present a Melbe-Dal Monte opera season in Covcnt Garden in 1925.
