The Sccre- ' tarv of the Sea Transport Group of unions announced that advice had been received from the Council of the Waterside Workers' Federation iu Melbourne, stating that it had been decided, in deference to the order of Mr Justice Powers, to resume overtime with companies employing union labour. This means that the ban is lifted from inter-State steamers, but not from oversea steamers. It was too late for officials to in- ; struct members to work overtime to- , night, but it will be resumed on Tues- ; day. [ The overseas companies work inde- > pendently of tho Watersiders' . tion, the members of which are only . employed by them when bureau men , are short.
