FRENCH PRECAUTIONS. LONDON, November 4. The French Government has given the police authorities special powers for controlling the use of wireless apparatus. There are, says the correspondent of "The Times" at Pans, over I,COO,000 wireless installations throughout the country, and it held that in national interests they should be under close supervision. . It is not intended to interfere with legitimate receiving sets, but it is feared that foreigners and others are toking advantage of the present unrestricted use of wireless to disseminate political information of a character tending to affect adversely French finance, and by communicating to interested persons in other countries the 'fluctuations on the Bourse.
