. While the Empire Parliamentary Association in : South Africa'were paying a visit •to a dam built for,; irrigation purposes, a very informative; speech ■was delivered by ; the Hon. A. P. Hawke (New Zealand), who 6poke on irrigation matters in' his Dominion.
