An unusual accident occurred on Mr J. Millard property at Oeo during the i week-end (says the ''Auckland fetar ). i A two-year-old: draught filly had evidently backed over the cliffs some time on ' Saturday, and was discovered; ou a lodge some 30 feet, down the cbff side i rooin to turn, and there was a drop of rsome 120 fee.t below it A- band of neighbours came to Mr Millars assistsince' and succeeded in lowering the filly to the beach below. The filly was lassoed (this took over an hour to accomplish) and lowered to the beach by the neck. On landing it followed another horse up a very rough track and is now none the worse for its experience.- The filly is a-vsJuable oik and worth fully £oo, bo Mr Millar has cause for congratulation on his luck. ..
