JAZZ CLUB. The cabaret dances held under, the auspices of the Christchurch Jazz Club are always anticipated with pleasure by the members and their friends, final dance of the season, held Jast night 'in the Art Gallery, certainly maintained the high standard set by previous dances held by the club in Carnival Week.

WEDDINGS.
BIGGINS—DUNCAN. « A pretty wedding was celebrated at Durham street Methodist Church recently when Ina, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Duncan, of Hawkesbury avenue, was married to Harold, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Biggins, of Southampton, street. The church was prettily decorated with arum lilies and orange blossoms. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. A. Hay and M* Firth presided at the organ.
.The bride entered the churqh on the arm- of her brother-in-law, "Mr D. Dunstan, in the absence of her father. She wore a frock of embossed "crepe de chine, and Brussels net veil, arranged in coronet fashion, and finished with orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of arum lilies and maidenhair, with tulle streamers. (She was attended by her sister, Miss Lottie Duncan, who wore a becoming frock of apricot taffeta made in early Victorian style, with a veil to match, held in place with a band of brilliants. > She carried a sheaf of arum lilies. .
Mr Harris performed the duties of best man.
After the ceremony the guests assembled at the Guild Hall, Winton street,, where they were received by the mother of the bride, who wore a dress of black &atin marocain with hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet or crimson roses and maidenhair fern. Mrs Biggins, mother of the bridegroom', wore a becoming grey costume with hat to match. The tables were beautifully decorated, with arum, lilies and sweet peas to match the frocks of bride and bridesmaid. Amongst the many present were: Sir and Mrs Dunstan, Mr and Mrs Knight, Mr and Mrs Smith. Mr and Mrs Broom, Mr' and Mrs Ward, Mrs and L.
