_♦ , A programme of deep significance will be presented at Mr Ernest Empson'a students' recital, to tako place in the Choral Hall on Thursday next, at 8 p.m. Anions the principal eolos, Chopin's great faataisio in F minor, representing l the composer at tho zenith of his creativo aqiivity, will ho played by' Kiss Constance Leatbaitt. Tho Bamo composer's famous "Efcudo in A Minor" (the ao-oalled "wind etudy") will bo featured by Miss May Barker. Miis Olive Cooper -will interpret Lieat's Legends "St. Francis Walking on the Waiter*.". More modern works are Sarabande and Rigaudon by Walter Niemann to be played by Miss Edsie Motrin, and RachraaninOff'a Prelude" (Miss G-witha Young;), and Debussy's masterpiece of realistio tone-paintin?. "EefleotiOftß in the Water" by Mr Fred Page. Tho box plan is at The 'Bristol.
