LYTTELTON NEWS.
The Holidays. A largo crowd of . holiday-makers visited Lyttelton yesterday. In addition to the ordinary service, two special trains were run each way. The small steamer John Anderson and a large fleet of motor Lunches were kept busy plying to the various bays. Trains leaving Lyttelton were also woll filled with Lyttelton folk bound for the Show and trots. Seamen's Institute. - The Thursday nigh concert was given by the Christchurch Ladies' Guild. Items were contributed as follows: —Pianoforte solo, Mis 3 Webb; violin eolo, Miss Kennedy; songs, Miss Langridge, Miss Dalley, Mr F. Armstrong, Mr' G. Cordney. The accorupaniste was Miss "Webb. Supper was given the seamen at the blose of the concert.
