LONDON, November 13. Mr Austen Chamberlain (Secrotwy of State for Foreign Affairs), speaking at Glasgow confirming tho Gar <*™' ment'B intention to constitute a Cabinet Committee to investigate the Zinovieff letter, said tho Committee would have liefore it supplementary information, which did not reach tho Into Government in timo for communication to its Committee. After receiving a report from tho Committee, the Government will tfocide what action to take.

The Cabinet Committee dealing with tho general question of Anglo-Russian relations, as well as the Zinovieff letter, consisted of Mr Austen Chamberlain (Secretary of State for Foreign Lord Birkenhead (Secretary of State for India), Sir William Joyn-son-Hicks (Secretary of State lor Home Affairs), and Sir Dwfilw Hc «S (Attorney^Jcneral).

The Warsaw correspondent of the <<Morning Post" says: "Reports from Moscow state that the Zinovicff letter was taken to England by the former head of the Soviet Secret Foreign Propaganda.Department, who disappeared from Moscow in mid-October, taking many secret documents. The ! Soviet decreed his arrest, which he evaded at Berlin, Ho then fled to London, and again avoided the searchers at Croydon aerodrome and handed over the letter to the Unionist office. The "Morning Post" quotes the Russian newspaper "Ppslednya Novosti" as'stating that Soviet officials demanded the fugitive's extradition as a common criminal, but as proof was lacking the Homo Office declined to intervene.
It is also 'declared that the document was the original, and not a copy.
