THEATRE ROYAL.

J. C. WILLIAMSON ENTER-

TAINERS.

The season of the third company of the J. C. Williamson entertainers is now drawing to a close, and a more successful season it would be impossible to imagine. The bill is a very comprehensive one, and each of the artists taking part baa ability wh:ch entitles its possessor to a special place in the theatrical world. It is an edification as well as a provision cf the best class ot entertainment, to see the present company, which cannot fail, if worth is any object, to draw crowded houses to the Thsatre Royal every night- during the present week. , Although' the whole programme is supplied by only oipht sets of artists, it defies anyone to withhold interest., and the preater part of the audience in surprised when they find that 11 o'ciock has been reached bsfore the last number has b;en presented. Such is but slight testimony, and the nroyramme really needs to be seen to be in any measure fully appreciated. The artists contribut'ng, taken in their order of appearance, are as follows :--I)'Alma and h : s canine marve's; Lucan and McShane, the favourite comedians; Miss Maggie Foster, the youthful violiniste; Mi.«s Beryl Beresford, the clever burlesque comedienne; Leo Brampton end Co., physical culture experts; Mss' Hilda Glyder, the delightful scubrette; Mr Harry Weldon, the burlesque comedian; and Massona and Ronald, jugglers.
