A GREATLY DISCUSSED EXHIBIT.

INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. (OF N.Z.), LTD.

Easily conspicuous as on© of the main centres of attraction at the Show Grounds yesterday was the stand of the Harvester Company. That the display merited the attention of throngs of interested spectators continuously throughout the day became quickly evident. A "feature" which at one© nvets the attention is the remarkable new "Power Take-Off" on the' sturdy . McCormickDeering Tractor. The introduction of this ingenious contrivance'undoubtedly foreshadows the beginning of a new era in tho history of harvesting and tillage. ■ The power and capacity of tnese splendid tractors was convincingly demonstrated to those well-qualified to judge—practical farmers of mature ex- . • •/. -O '}S< !' r>. tractor operated, what is undoubtedly ''the very last word" in harvesting machinery—the new McCormiek-Deer ing Tractor Binder (10ft. cut). This is worked direct from the engine of the tractor by means of the 'Tower TakeOff," all control 1-vers from the binder being easily accessible to the driver on the seat of the tractor.

Amongst the other machinery on view, specially adapted to use with the tractor, may be seen a powerful 6et of disc harrows,' with foot-lciver lift, operated from the tractor; and also a strongly built grubber fitted with the same ingenious contrivance. An entirely satisfactory solution of the problem of haulaee and transport •is also exhibited in f'e shape of the famous "International" Trucks in three sizes—a one-ton "Speed model." as well as 3-ton and 5-ton models. Nothing more capable for tho purpose could possibly be imagined.
