THE SIXTH OLYMPIA.
Drawing to a Close. and to-morrow will-provide tlie last opportunities of viewing the display of cars and motor-cycles which comprise ths Sixth Olympia Motor Show, the most successful exhibition of its so far held in New Zealand. The Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Motor Traders' Association is the organisation which originated thi3 class of show in New Zealand, and though the trade in other parts of the Dominion soon followed its lead, it stands to the credit of the local traders that their Olympia lias never been surpassed. During the last six years the trade has presented some fln}3 displays, each year's show excelling that of the previous season. The 1924 Olympia is no exception to this rule of steady progress and expansion, for the committee in charge of the arrangements have kept themselves Well abreast of the times, and have added every . feature and improvement that could be well imagined. There is no longer any question of soliciting support from the car importers, for the demand for space is so keen that it was at a premium long before the show was opened. Only lack of space prohibits the display from being made much larger, but, as it is, Canterbury is fortunate in having available the largest building suitable for such a purpose in the Dominion, King Edward Barracks, which is situated in Cashel street West, right in the heart of tho city. Xa the ensemble and in detail, the exhibition of oars in this, the Sixth, Olympia, is magnificent. There are cars there to suit every ntagg of buyer and to appeal to ail tastes, whether the beholders a?e motetrists, prospective motorists, or merely those who have an appreciation of all that is most refined, elegant, and appealing in the most up-to-date and popular forms of conveyance—the auto-cax and auto-cycle.
