NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The annual meeting of the Taylor's Mistake Life-Saving and Surf Club will be held on Sunday, November 16th, at 2.30 p.m., in the Club's pavilion at Taylor's Mistake. There will be no dust or<l refuse collection to-morrow. The carts will call to<lay at the places usually called upon to-morrow. Nelson College old boys resident in Christchurch will hold a meeting in the Y.M.C.A. on Saturday, at 7.30 p.m. A gathering of the clans will be held in the Scottish Scciety's Hall to-night. Tomorrow night a Soottish concert will be held in the same hall.
A garden fete will be held at St. Peter's vicstrage grounds,. Upper Riccarton, on Saturday, commencing at 2.20 p.m.
