Cable advice has been received by the i New Zealand Shipping Company that the ! Kotorua, which left Wellington on October 18tli, arrived at Panama on 6th and sailed from Colon on the following day for Home.. Tho Union Company announces that the stoamer-Sheaf Mount has been chartered to load at Vancouver and San Francisco during late November and early December, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dnnedin, and, if sufficient inducement offers, New Plymouth. Tho A. and A. Lino have been advised that the liner Pakipalri, formerly the TrewinnaTd, which changed her' name at New York, sailed from that port on November 2nd and from Kew?ort News on November 4th with -cargo, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New "Plymouth, and Australian 'ports. She is due at Auckland on December 7th and at Wellington about a week later.

SEAMAN REFUSES DUTY. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TZLZQXAV-) AUCKLAND, November 12. A' member of the Tainui'a cww was fined. 208 for disobeying lawful on tho voyage from London to Auckland. Accused who should have been on watch, a fancy dress dance among the third class passengers,' and refused to return to worK when ordered). It was stated, that there was a l«rge namber of immigrants on the Tainui, and . complaints had been received of the crew mixing with the third-class passengers.
